Job Description
HCLTech is looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Service Desk Analyst to provide first-level IT technical support to end users. The selected candidate will act as the primary point of contact for technical issues, resolving hardware, software, operating system, and network-related problems while ensuring excellent customer service.
The role involves handling support requests through phone, email, and ticketing systems, troubleshooting technical issues, installing and configuring software and hardware, maintaining documentation, and ensuring service requests are resolved within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Candidates should have experience in international voice or non-voice technical support, as this is a mandatory requirement for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, operating system, and network issues.
- Respond to user requests through phone, email, and IT ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices.
- Assist users with password resets and account-related issues.
- Log, categorize, prioritize, and track incidents and service requests.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to higher-level support teams.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications and hardware devices.
- Set up user accounts and workstations for new employees.
- Document troubleshooting procedures and maintain the knowledge base.
- Create self-help guides and FAQs for common technical issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service while meeting SLA commitments.
