Job Description
The Executive Trainee will work closely with the Site Head to support port operations, business objectives, and strategic initiatives. The role involves performance monitoring, inter-departmental coordination, reporting, compliance management, stakeholder communication, and administrative support. Candidates will gain hands-on exposure to various aspects of port management while contributing to operational efficiency and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Head in monitoring overall port performance and operational efficiency.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives, business plans, and operational targets.
- Track operational metrics and identify performance deviations.
- Coordinate activities between departments such as Operations, Marine, Maintenance, HSE, Finance, and HR.
- Facilitate internal meetings, reviews, and follow-up actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the development of dashboards and performance presentations.
- Participate in process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
- Assist in implementing digitalization and automation projects.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution.
- Maintain documentation related to audits, inspections, and compliance requirements.
- Support interactions with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
- Provide administrative and executive assistance, including scheduling and correspondence.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing notes for management reviews.
